VISHAAL MELWANI

When he was seven, he would help his father hem clothes by hand before moving on to pleating and sewing the seams together. This happened by the age of 13: Every day after school and on weekends, he made full changes to his clothes and furniture. College is where the man made clothes as a hobby. Then he and his cousin started a trading business together. In the past, the company was called Melwanis MFG.

They bought clothes from new, up-and-coming brands. His friends who work in New York wanted to look good when they went to work. After college, he went to visit them. It was when he came to this place that he realized how few choices there were. Following his visit to a Men's Warehouse, he was shocked by how old-fashioned the suits were.

People who work in the business world will have to go somewhere else to get fashionable clothes. This made him want to make clothes for white-collar workers that looked as good as they were practical.

People who buy Melwani's products want him to be honest with them. This has allowed him to get into the nitty-gritty of the products he sells. With his talk about everything from the size of his shoulder pads to where his thread comes from, he's won over customers who have come to expect the best from him. Vishaal Melwani wanted to stay in the fashion industry, even though his parents wanted him to go to law school. He went to the University of California, Irvine, where he got a degree in International Business and worked for a while.
